In-vitro Biologist (Scientist) - Job description
About Us
We are an early-stage start up unlocking the next generation of molecular glues by utilising our unique computational platform. We have several active programs spanning a range of mechanisms and disease areas. We are headquartered in London, with laboratory facilities in Stevenage.
Your Profile
We are looking for intellectually curious and driven biologists who are passionate about unlocking the next generation of small molecule therapeutics. You would thrive in a dynamic start-up environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously and enjoying the challenge of solving complex problems. You’re motivated to make impactful contributions to research in targeted protein degradation and induced proximity.
Your Role
Join the Drug Discovery Team in Stevenage, reporting to a biology Principal Scientist
This is a lab-based role working at our research facility in the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst (SBC) on the GSK Campus
Access to excellent on-site amenities including a gym, coffee shop, restaurant, and shuttle-bus to Stevenage train station
Develop and run bespoke cellular assays to characterise the pharmacology of key molecular glue compounds.
Work closely with our drug discovery and computational scientists to provide novel experimental data to improve the TernaryTx platform and internal projects
Present your data during internal team meetings including to non-expert audiences
Ensure smooth running of the lab
managing reagents and consumables
maintenance of cell lines with excellent aseptic technique
Management of internal compound handling and inventory, working closely with the chemistry team to ensure samples are solubilised and available for internal screening
